This article explains how you can configure your Windows 10 OS, in order to show hidden files as well in Windows Explorer.
There are times where you might want to view hidden files in Windows. You can easily do that by setting the corresponding option in Windows folder options.
Let’s see how we can do this with a step by step example.
As you can see from the below screenshot, I have a folder (c:\test
) in which I can only see one file. However, the folder has another file which is hidden and I want to be able to see it.
Step 1: Click on the “View” menu and then “Options” in order to access the Folder Options dialog:
Step 2: In the Folder Options dialog, click on “View”, then “Show hidden files, folders and drives”, then click on “Apply” and “OK”
That’s it! Now you should be able to see all hidden files!
